Information you choose to email

This launch website has no enquiry form, account sign-up, vehicle lookup or checkout. If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and any contact details or information you include so that we can respond.

Enquiries that do not become an active customer or project are normally kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted unless there is a justified reason to retain them longer. If an enquiry becomes a customer or project, relevant correspondence may be kept for as long as needed for delivery, accounts, support, dispute handling or legal obligations.

Technical website logs

Hosting systems may record technical information such as IP address, browser or user-agent, timestamps and requested page addresses. These logs support security, troubleshooting and reliable service. Our intended standard retention is 30 days; longer retention is limited to a specific security or operational investigation where needed.

Hosting and email providers

We use third-party providers for website hosting and email. They may process personal information on our behalf in the UK, EEA or other locations where appropriate safeguards are in place. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on applicable contractual or legal safeguards required by UK data-protection law.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us to ask about the personal information we hold or to exercise rights available under data-protection law. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

When FirstDibs begins offering vehicle checks, accounts or paid reports, we will provide any additional privacy information before those services collect personal information.
